My cottage
chic cotton blouse is back, with lovely summer colors and prints.
I have a
few cotton fabrics which I will use to make the top of this design. I
need to wash these fabrics in the washing machine first to preshrink them. The first picture shows the
fabrics of my original intention of color combination. I bought the solid colored
fabrics in the middle yesterday and they have not been washed yet.
I was a little impatient this morning and did not want to wait for the fabrics to be washed. So, I
used another preshrunk fabric in grey instead.
I made the blouse in size Medium. But because it is a loose-fitting design it will also fit a
person wearing size Large (bust up to 37 inches, waist up to 32 inches). The square neck is decorated with
hand and machine stitches.
It is
slightly gathered on the front and has large bell sleeves.
The top is
now available for sale on my Etsy shop as a sample sale item for 49 dollars. It is
one of a kind. In the coming weeks I will make some more of the tops with other color combinations and sizes. And the price will be 67 dollars
each.
I would also like to mention that I listed a sample sale item for the blue jersey top.
The neckline is a little too high around the shoulders. It is in size Medium and the price is 49

Wow Baï that blouse is gorgeous! I love your design mixing that block colored collar with this so romantic pink floral fabric! I must admit that I lurk the other floral fabric in your first picture, the one on the far right...divine! :D and I don't forget the promised picture of myself modeling your so beloved skirt, just waiting for a little sunny day, it rains cats and dogs here!
Hi Lucie.. Thanks so much for your lovely comment about my new blouse. It is wet and windy here too. That was why I stayed inside and worked on the blouse. Looking forward to seeing you pictures with the skirt... Take your time though. It is not yet the skirt weather;)
